Also part of our Google Tag Manager integration is Leadinfo. Leadinfo places two first party cookies which exclusively provide pressrelations insights into the behavior on the website. These cookies will not be shared with other parties.
Hotjar
With these cookies, we can track which areas of our website you view and find interesting. No personal data is collected, but it enables us to improve our website. The collected data will be sent to Hotjar Ltd. based in Malta.
Facebook Pixel
We use a Facebook pixel to improve our postings and applications on Facebook - the pixel collects anonymous information about page views, requests and newsletter subscriptions. No personal data such as Facebook profile, e-mail addresses or names are transmitted to pressrelations. It finds a data transfer to Facebook Inc. (USA).
LinkedIn Pixel
We use a so-called LinkedIn Insight tag on our website to collect anonymous data on page views, enquiries and newsletter subscriptions. No personal data, e.g. LinkedIn profile, e-mail addresses or names are transmitted to pressrelations. Data is transferred to LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company.
Twitter Pixel
We use a so-called universal Twitter tag on our website to collect anonymous data about page views, requests and newsletter subscriptions. No personal data such as Twitter profile, e-mail addresses or names are transmitted to pressrelations. Data is transferred to Twitter Inc.

General Terms and Conditions of NewsRadar®

NewsRadar® Terms of Use

Last Updated: February 25, 2025

Insofar as additional terms of use apply alongside the General Terms and Conditions of pressrelations (hereinafter “GTC”) for certain products or services provided by pressrelations GmbH, (hereinafter “pressrelations”), these General Terms of Use (hereinafter “GTU”) shall apply. Together, these documents constitute the contractual agreement between the customer and pressrelations (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Parties”).

1 Introduction

  1. A legal relationship already exists between the Parties, or the Parties intend to establish a legal relationship. This legal relationship may have taken any form or may take the form of a contract for work and services or a service contract.
  2. NewsRadar® is designed for the analysis and optimization of media monitoring, as well as press and public relations work.
  3. By using NewsRadar® or other corresponding products or services from pressrelations, the User agrees to be bound by these General Terms of Use. Otherwise, the use of the respective products or services is not permitted.

2 Definitions

  1. In these General Terms of Use, defined terms are highlighted in bold. This applies to all grammatical forms of the respective terms.
  2. NewsRadar® refers to the digital media analysis and monitoring platform provided by pressrelations.
  3. User refers to any natural or legal person who utilizes products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®.
  4. Personal Data is to be understood as defined in Art. 4 No. 1 of the GDPR.

3 Scope of the Terms of Use

  1. The use of products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, is governed by the following General Terms of Use.
  2. pressrelations has developed NewsRadar® as a digital PR management tool for media monitoring and analysis.
  3. The products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, enable pressrelations' customers and users to identify and analyze relevant topics within the media landscape and strategically integrate them into corporate public relations activities.

4 Purpose of Use

  1. As stated in the introduction, NewsRadar® is intended exclusively for media monitoring and public relations purposes.
  2. The use of products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, is permitted solely for the purposes set forth in these General Terms of Use.

5 Terms of Use

  1. For the duration of the contractually agreed usage period, the User is granted a simple, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and non-exclusive right to use the products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®.
  2. The User undertakes to use the products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, exclusively within the scope of the contractually agreed purpose of use.
  3. The User undertakes to use the products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, in strict compliance with applicable legal provisions, in particular data protection regulations and intellectual property laws. The responsibility for content and compliance with data protection regulations is governed by Sections 6 and 14 of the GTC.
  4. The use of products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, is strictly limited to the persons expressly agreed upon in the contract.
  5. Upon request by pressrelations, the User is obligated to immediately, irrevocably, and in accordance with the state of the art delete or destroy any data. This applies in particular to data that is no longer required after the termination of the contractual relationship or whose storage would violate legal provisions. Confidentiality provisions and data protection policies are regulated in Section 14 of the GTC.
  6. The disclosure, reproduction, distribution, or publication of any content from the product, in whole or in part, to third parties in any form is strictly prohibited. Restrictions on use and copyright protection measures are set out in Section 12 of the GTC.
  7. The User undertakes to obtain all necessary licenses required for the use of the products or services provided by pressrelations, such as NewsRadar®, and to comply with the licensing terms of the respective rights holders and third-party providers.
  8. If the services provided by pressrelations contain third-party software components (e.g., open-source software), the use of these components shall be governed by the respective license terms of the third-party providers.

6 Liability

  1. The User assumes full responsibility for any use of the product carried out using their access credentials.
  2. The obligations related to the protection of access credentials are additionally governed by Section 5 (6) of the GTC.
  3. In the event of non-compliance with the obligations set forth in these General Terms of Use, the User shall be liable not only under statutory claims but also directly under these Terms of Use for compensating any damages resulting from such non-compliance. This includes both material and immaterial damages, including the enforcement of legitimate interests against third parties.
  4. pressrelations shall not be liable for any damages resulting from incorrect (abusive or erroneous) use of the product.
  5. The general liability provisions for damages are set out in Section 11 of the GTC.

7 Modification of the Terms of Use

  1. pressrelations reserves the right to modify these General Terms of Use at any time.
  2. The User will be informed of such changes in a timely manner. If the User does not expressly object to the changes within 30 days of receiving the change notification, the changes shall be deemed accepted.
  3. These General Terms of Use are available in both German and English. In the event of discrepancies or inconsistencies between the versions, the German version shall prevail.
